On 27 -28 November 2008, SiReNT was featured in the Public Service Excel Convention! SLA was chosen to showcase the co-development of the innovative Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) by WITS team Pathfinders and Infowave Pte Ltd. The MDT had been developed to serve the Tracking and Navigation market.
In addition to the Mobile Data Terminal, the SiReNT booth showcased a wide array of GPS equipment which are SiReNT-ready, to help visitors get a feel of how GPS can help them in their work.
The centerpiece of our exhibition space was a 1:25000 map of Singapore, showing the locations of the SiReNT reference stations, as well as the many and diverse applications where SiReNT can provide real-time accurate positioning.
