From 4th August 2008 onwards, SiReNT will upgrade its RINEX version to 2.11 that supports the L2C data.
This change will only affect SiReNT post-processing customers who may need to upgrade their equipment´s baseline processing software. SiReNT users should check with their vendors regarding the update of their software.
As more GPS satellites transmitting L2C signals are available, the upgrade to RINEX version 2.11 is necessary to ensure that dual-frequency data are provided by SiReNT. The current RINEX version 2.10 does not support L2C data and this resulted in insufficient data for proper baseline processing.
